Option To Turn Off The Fog

We should have an option to turn off the in game fog it looks so much better than looking through all the fog on the maps. So we can see the real beauty of the game we are playing

I don't think the PvE maps need less fog. Some of the tombs maps, like HoH, have way too much.

A lot of objects that are far away are replaced by 2D sprites, if you take away the fog, it will look really weird.

As much as id love to go sight seeing I fear removing the fog to see more graphics would only make my game run slower than it already does.... which is pretty darn slow.

lol Anet did say this game is about choices and options so an option wouldn't hurt the ones that want it or off. (even though I'm the only in this thread so far that wouldn't mind having it off)


Many other games have more options for graphic settings than GW does and thats kinda lame IMO.

Will you all look at the posted pictures? there is a huge diffrence... Note it looks alot better w/o the fog..

also WHY are there clouds covering the map??? When you hit M for map there are clouds floatig around!!! Yall know that maps are printed on paper right? Satalite imagery does not exist for the setting of this game.

i support an option to remove things like fog rain and snow.
