I've only had GW for about 2 weeks now. I've seen people say things like,
"GLF 2, invite self."
And I have no idea what they mean. Is there a way to select a group and then invite yourself into it? IDk, would someone please expalin this term.
What do you mean Invite Self?

mohh
It means that that particular group needs 2 more folks and anyone can join. Just find the one posting the message and invite him to your party. He will then accept you into his unless the slots have been filled already.

That means, Group Looking For 2, invite yourself - type out the name of that person in the invite box, if he/she has a group already going, you will invite yourself to join them. If not, well, you will be starting a group =)

Easiest way by far for inviting people with long names:
Click on person's name in chat to bring up a whisper to that person. Highlight the entire name and press Ctrl+C (copy). Click in your party box and press Ctrl+V (paste). Then click on the green + button.

Being able to type 70 words a minute sure helps out on the copy and paste.
Former Ruling
I was confused when I started too.
But its simple - When someone Invites someone else - The person with the most priority gets to be the "come to" guy in the affair.
So if you invite his 6/8 group, and you are only one guy, he takaes the priority and you come to his group, not the other way around (he is still leader).
When people start they assume that if you invite someone they come to your group no matter what. This isnt the case.
