Okay I've been reading everywhere because I hate asking stupid questions and I know this probably is one but yeah I read pretty much everything I could about it that can cast on allys and self makes attacks holy damage attribute as well as adds 20% armor penetration and that holy damage doesn't ignore armor bleh bleh just elemental defense etc etc but yeah does double damage to undead and necro stuffs etc etc.
so then I see everyone talking about how this is a really great skill for damage dealing Ranger/Mo's for PvP and PvE yet it seems through all my testing, whever Judges Insight is active my attacks seem to do less, alot less.
If all it's doing is making my attacks holy attribute and adding 20% armor penetration how is it at all possible that I'd be doing LESS damage? I don't think these are lucky hits either because the differences in my numbers are pretty marginal and I've tested it quite a bit... so yeah, I hope some one has an answer for me I'm pretty sure there is nothing wrong with it just something about the skill that I don't know heh.
Btw I was testing on all the mobs around Yak's Bend(Summits, Ice Golem, that crab thingy and those big Snow guys) as a R/Mo.

I couldn't finish it.... I'm sorry, bad punctuation gives me a headache.

Maybe those guys dont take much from holy damage? If you use it on undead... you fricken tear them apart. Also in PvP there is a necromancer armor that makes them take extra damage from holy damage, so you can use it to good use there. But other then that, I really am not sure why you are doing less damage...

What kind of damage do you normally do? A lot of the creatures around Yak's are vulnerable to fire damage; if you switch to holy, you might end up doing less damage, even with the armor penetration helping you out. Also, armor penetration is a big deal later on, but in the early parts of the game, armor is so low that AP doesn't really do much. Judge's Insight doesn't really start to shine as a skill until you get to the Gates of Kryta. Then it completely rocks, but before that, it's rarely of much use.
