personally i think ange1 is spot on, people are not willing to spend that much on FoW after they caught a glimpse of the possibly new armours on the henchman in tombs. In the lead of to Guild Wars: Factions prices of most commoditites are dropping except for materials such as rubies, sapphires and monstrous eyes, claws, fangs ie. materials that have no use in Guild Wars and are "expected" to be used on Guild Wars: Factions armour. There are 2 possible scenarios regarding ecto prices.

A. Ecto prices continue to drop to a reasonable lvl 3-5k with ppl deciding to spend their gold on the new Guild Wars: Faction armours.

B. Ecto prices will drop but then rise again to 8-9k price range after ppl realise that the armour isn't as good or that rubies and sapphires are required for the new armours and the price of rubies and sapphires rises to 10k+ price like what ectos use to be. Therefore people will decided to buy the "cheaper" FoW
