Pre-Searing: Bother With the Armor?

Well, I've been running around like a chicken with his head cut off looking for all of this neat new armor... but I'm starting to ask myself if its worth it. Am I better off just gathering materials from grawls and buying it from a crafter at a later time in the game? It might be a lot better use of time than running around trying to find armor that I might soon surrender anyway. A ton avis, should I be looking for this crap armor, or do I just buy it when I get to searing?

The various armour pieces you get from the collectors in pre-searing only gives a small upgrade, so I woudn't bother. Wait until you get to post and pick up some armour that gives a bit more of a stat boost.

'Aight, it was getting pretty annoying running around looking for the lousy crap.
