Oh God... I've been looking forward to B-Testing GW for so friggin' long... But... it doesn't work... I mean... I created my character and all... The game loads... But... Everything I do is followed by 30 seconds of lag. Click: lag. Pressing W: Lag.

Bull crap... I went to the graphics quality, and put it on Fastest. I went to advanced, clicked the little check box, but I don't know if that helped, but also, I put all the qualities on low. Game then froze, so I had to reboot my computer.

Man, I am so angry. I was so looking forward to playing the game. Now, my question is, how do I make the game go faster?

Hmm... Maybe if you told people the system specs of your machine. If your GPU
(video card) is a crappy video chip on your mother board, you probably need a better card. Or your internet connection is sub-par.

I have a great internet connection, but my computer sucks.

Anyway I can figure out my computer specs?

Assuming you are running Windows XP to to:
Start > Run > type in 'dxdiag' and press OK.
We need your processor and memory. The press the "Display" tab and tell us your video card (What's written for 'Name').

Well it says the Chip type is GeForce3 Ti 200
Says the DAC type is Integrated RAMDAC.
Says the name is NVIDIA GeForce3 Ti 200
Monitor is a plug and play monitor
Says total memory is 64.0 mb (If that's disk space my computer can hold like 32gb)

Is that the info you need?

Well it's not a GREAT video card.....but what about the rest of your computer.....cause you could have a $500 video card in a Pentium 100 and you would never see things at the best the card can do if at all.

No.
I clearly asked for PROCESSOR and MEMORY on the first page (System tab).
A 64MB GeForce 3Ti is a good card, but you haven't said anything about your computer.

I noticed today a lot of characters were having freeze-ups and lags once they stepped out of the town but not in town. I reported it as a bug. There was also a time today when all the grass in the immediate vicinity washed out to white but after a while it was fine again.

I have a similar problem. My computer has all of the requirements to play, but when I log in, when the load bar reaches 100%, my computer freezes. It worked fine on the last beta, but for some reason it won't work now. Though I did reinstall windows, but I got the latest service pack before I installed the game.

Well, DATD, then I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about... Should I send you a screenshot of the display?

Hi - I'm new here, but I thought I would remind everyone that some computer users don't know how to find out what is "under the hood" so to speak. They turn on their computer and just play or get email - so when you tell them what info you need you have to be more explicit . LOL - I don't know what type of engine I have in my car! Yes, I could find out but that would only be after some kind person told me where to look.

Koto, when you ran dxdiag the very first screen that came up was under the tab "System". On that page you will see (among other good info) your processor and memory.

Hope this helps!

forgive this ...am going to assume you are running a version of Windows...

left mouse click once on you "my computer" icon.......then right mouse click once .....you will see a menu....at bottom or somewhere there should be a heading called "properties"...left click that once.....it will open up a new window...at top of that window should be a bunch of tabs..look for the one that says "general".... put that information in this thread so that somebody can ascertain what your problem is. ok?
