I started a new character today and it seems since the update that the pre-searing quest in the topic has been broken or all the items required to complete this quest have been moved to all new locations.
Anyone else notice this?
"Gift for Althea" quest broken now?

That's very generous of you but since we just met I wouldn't feel right about taking that.

I started a new character this morning, and the Pearl and Feather seem to be in the same spots as always. I haven't gotten the actual quest yet, though, and I haven't checked for the pendant.

Yea I just checked again and everything was where it was supposed to be. I guess I got a bugged instance the last time. Didn't really occur to me at the time to port back to Ascalon and try again

When I did this quest, I gave my feather directly to Althea instead of collecting all of the items and giving them to her man. To my surprise, it completed the quest and I received the reward. Anyone else try this shortcut?

LOL.. I don't know if this was a bug or not, but I found it when I gave a feather to the dude and he said "Oh this isn't good enough" but took it anyway!! I was thinking wow that's not cool. So i went and got another feather and thought maybe SHE would appreciate it from me directly. BAM! Reward and mission completed! Guess it pays to circumvent the boyfriend to score with da' ladies!
