new with a question

hi, im new to the site and to Guild Wars ive been playing for about a month or so,i wanted to know what a bow is worth.

i bought a gold max damage(req 9 i think) long bow for 1k and added a bow grip of fortitude that was given to me and the merchant value jumped from like 130g to around 440g. if this isnt enough info tell me im a dummy and ill get the specs, im at work and dont remember.

gold vamperic composite bow of shelter
peircing damage 15-28 req 9
life stealing 3
health regen -1
armor +6 vs physical attacks


gold longbow of fortitude
peircing damage 15-28 req 9
damage +13
health +20

ok the top one is 1k or less. i would merchant.
the bottom one is misson someting. All %damage is conditional, so whats the condition?
