NOTE - tried the serach thing.. did not see what I was looking for.
Hello all..
I have some Q's about the game.
I am a Mo/E7
I just left pre searing
1.)
I wonder if there are more than 2 profession npcs I could have gotten skills from. Seems to me that I should have recieved Resurect as a starting skill.
Note that magde level 7 , looking for more profession trainers and doing other quests, before leaving pre searing.
2.) Off hand Items..
I do not understand their full effects.
Generally you have the Off hand Item name. an energy + bonus and its value
Then you have the ones that have more bonuses like armor + or health +
These bonuses and all are self explanitory, what I cant understand is the benifit of the type of item used.
For example.
Healing Ahnk energy +4 vs Flame totem energy +4
Both give the energy +4
but does the healing or flame do anything? In game I was told it helps with that type of spell. But no one could tell me how it helps.
Thats about it for now
Some Q's from a noob

Before deciding on accepting a secondary profession you can go to all the other trainers and do the quests without accepting to be one after you are done the quest. This way you get more xp and at the same time you unlock other skills.
The rez signet is outside ascalon city. you take the quest and go back to town and team up with another person then go back outside again to get the reward and the signet.
The naming of off hands in pre sear does not mean anything. Its just called that.
After in post healing ankh has other mods such as improve skill reacharge or cast in healing or smiting etc.
Flame ones would have the same mods in fire damage and so on.

As the artifacts become more powerful, like up to +12 energy, they start coming with requirements, such as requiring 9 in healing in order to get the full benefit from the bonus with the requirement.
Sereng Amaranth
Don't go looking for a weapon with healing as a requirement.

they only do exactly what it says in the description, but they're sort of categorized by type for the different professions.
ie if I know you've got a healing ankh, chances are it's geared towards the monk class, meaning it's got some monk attribute prereq, but sometimes you'll see a class mix on those things.
maybe an ankh that improves recharge on water magic skills, or whatever.
