More character slots with expansion?

I was just wondering if Anet will put more slots with the arrival of the expansion. I would think they will because there would be about 8 characters to chose from? If they dont I would be extremely dissapointed. But jw. thx

Ah, well, I guess we can forgive you for not using search since it's not totally functional right now. There will be at least one extra slot. This has already been discussed quite a bit, so if you'd look around for the other threads about this, that would be great. Thanks.

sorry for long title but Ive seen a lot of people saying im not preordering till the packages comes out. what is this? And if any of you know the exact date of when the expansion comes out that would be great. Thanx

"Pre-Order" kits from the 1st GuildWars were a box you could buy or you were given when you pre-order the game from a store that gave you access to the monthly "beta" events aka you could play the game once a month before it came out. They also gave you a "unque" special item when got the full version of the game (when it game out).

Most people are assuming it will be a same thing with Chapter 2 of guild wars. You will get some sort of pre-order kit that will give you access to "beta" events and give you something special once get the full game.

Chapter 2: Faction does not have an "official" release date. I would expect it Q1/Q2 this year. April would be a good guess.
