I'm confused: Skeletonslaying vs. Deathbane

Does anyone know which creatures fall into the category Skeletons and which Undead? Seems that Skeletons would also be Undead, but then why have a separate classification? I know that Holy Dmg is doubled vs. Skeletons in FoW, and not so vs. Shadow foes... further to that, are Shadow creatures Undead?

It would be nice to see a published beastiary showing which creatures are affected by the different elemental damage etc.

And... why not have all weapon types capable of Holy, Dark and Chaos damage... and how exactly those dmg types affect different creatures.

Skeletonslaying vs. Deathbane... anyone know the skinny?

As far as I've heard on this forum, skeletons do count as undead as they should, but I don't know why they'd make a mod just for skeletons and then go and make one that covers skeletons as well as other similar mobs.

From my understanding, skeleton slaying goes to damage+20%, because skeleton slaying is a more precision category, as in it applies to less enemies.
Might be wrong.

Where as Deathbane goes to also +20%. Hmm..

most skeleton does not leave any corpse (dont know why bone dragon does), undead does.
skeleton does not have flesh, undead does.

they are two different race.

that is how I took it.

There was just a couple fairly recent discussions about this. You would be better served searching "deathbane" "undead" or "skeleton slaying" and see what comes up. This will get you much more concrete answers without a rehash.

Can't seem to search the forums... says something about being disabled due to server traffic (probably the drain from the new auctions - which are great, but the php doesn't always work). Anyway, I can't seem to find the discussions you mention... were they in THIS forum? My post was moved from Riverside Inn forum.

Thx
