Help Capping Oath Shot

Im a lvl 19 Infused Ranger/Ele, ive tried capping OShot in Ice Floe, but the Mursaat tear right through my hench, leaving me to fend byself, which i cant do really, so i tried in Iron Mines, but once again the Jade Armors just totally dominate hench, i cant seem to kill more than 1 or 2 before all my hench are dead. I was looking for any suggestions u guys might have, im currently using a barrage build, and havent beat THK to get to Light Camp.

Also, what is the best place to cap this spell with hench? and where should i go to get a capping pug group (i have a semi-inactive guild) in Iron Mines, most ppl are doing hte mission to get infused, so they cant get up to the boss, and in THK (boss in ice floe) all the people are trying to do the mission, ive been trying for ~an hour in a half and i beat the first group in ice floe once, then died to the much larger second group...an suggestions would be nice!

I think you can cap it later on in the Ring Of Fire Mission. At least, I recall a Jade Bow boss that had Oath Shot in the guardhouse (the front entrance past the mass seals, not the way up the volcano).

Don't even bother trying to cap it in THK, Just focus on beating the mission.
And you will when you get a good group, Forget the henchies!

Then you have two chances to cap it in the ring of fire islands, Once in the ring of fire mission itself (from cairn the troubling) and if you miss that you get a second chance in the abaddons mouth mission (from cairn the relentless).

So you cant miss it really.

I've run into the ranger boss everytime i've been through Ring of Fire and Abbadons, I'd wait and cap it there.

ya omega is right cap it the ring of fire mission, thats what i did.

well i know i got it in Iron Mines. I think the trick with the henchies is to call targets, make sure you're doing that or they are just useless.

i tried the calling targets and it doesnt work, i always do that though...i ended up getting my infused guildies to help me cap it in Iron Mines, we had to go through the entire mission pretty much cuz he only spawned at the end, im guessing if you were going to hench it, it would be better to wait til ring of fire!

Aye if you skip Markis and go down the right hand side of IMOM you can get quite a few captures. I need to do it at some point to get my Mesmer/Necro her life transfer ...

I actually totallyed missed otahShot going thorughthe game regularly.

When I did Iron Mines he was a middle spawn and my group didn't have to go there, When I did THK He didn't spawn, When I did Ring of Fire He was the alst boss so the mission ended upon beating him, and in the last part he didn't spawn.

So I had to go back to get it lol.

I got it from Iron Mines with a team of henchies yesterday... the boss was the last one (all the way back down to the south of the map), so it was a real long fight... still, once I had it I decided to do the bonus too, which was cake (I was an interrupter/trapper, and oath shot rules with traps!).

Now that Henchies can get infused - I do cap that mission with henchies.

I also found out Hilios only has 2 possible spawns and he is always at one of them.

One is right after the bonus (going up the hill from the bonus starter - where Inquistor goes), and the other at the 3 way bridge (the one where if you keep going north from the bridge, you hit Blessed Griffons)

I capped it in Ice Flow although it did take awhile but prabably not as long as it took you.I use ignite, dual shot,whirling defence,distracting shot and flame trap.I didn't want to cap it in Rof becuase there is another Ranger elite there and I need to cap a Necro elite as well.
