It doesn't take me nearly that long... If I was to do only smites, it takes ~15 minutes for a full run, from initial spawn to the last smite (including all prep time.) I'm quite sure it would take over 2x that long for someone to solo it.
The thing with 2man runs is you have so many options of what else to do. You can't do nearly as many quests with a solo mo/n, which I find are quite fun (not to mention more ectos and much MUCH more experience.)

Personally i see nothing special. I agree mo/me is about the best solo for uw and does take time. I strictly solo for ecto farming. aside from ecto i make more money in droknar with mo/w. But to each their own.
Fyi complain about slow solo after ya do w/n uw solo.lol thats tough but capable. not my design but was fun to do.

I think is something really nice, And when u have little wierd solo builds, u kinda wanna improvise and add/change some skills for the ultimate build, of course it takes time but its deffinetly worth it i think. Because when u are done and its sucessful , you can be proud of that build.

hey, been doing this UW thing solo for a couple of days, first time i went i got an ecto, and the second time i also got an ecto, but i died before i reached it LOL! and after that i just constantly died ^_^, anyway, i would like to know the where abouts of the smites? if someone could take a screen shot of the map that would be sweet

also, isnt only haveing two maintaned enchantments not enough? or does it do ace?

Any chance a Mo/N can solo the new UW? Ive tried out of interest but failed swiftly, im not sure if anyone has worked a way around this?

ok to answer the question for solo new UW its impossible cause if ur primary or secondary is monk they strip of encahts even spell breaker.
Now for the solo UW build urs will not work on smites do to Hex Removals.
A build i got from these forums for a 55 necro is
Protective Spirit
Healing Breeze
Shadow Of Fear
Spiteful Spirit
Gaurdian
Essence Bond
Blaths Spirit
Mending
Now how it works is simple...gaurdian to help u with aaxte and the nu use Shadow of Fear for smites. Since its AoE it affects them all. So u cast it, wait till they all smite hex, and then SS. Do this procedure 2-3 times and all smites will die.
I believe this build with work with mo/n, just would kill slower.
Now if u wondering y use SoF with SS well they both have 10 second recharge so its a perfect combo...Rember to cover SS with SoF so smites dont smite hex the SS. This build works well and i have soloed several times to it.
This build was originally made by KCP so i am not taking any credit for it.
Just search for it on forums and u'll find his build with explanations on how to use it in UW and in FoW.
