PC {Shadow Staff} 20/10 Casting/Recharge Prot/All

I already know this little beauty can sell for a lot, now my question is, about how much?

1. There is no collector's staff with Prot bonuses, or much less universal bonuses obviously. And no Green has this 20/10 combo.

2. The req is different than the Prot bonus but it's low enough that it can be met easily depending on the build. Besides, the req really doesn't matter to most as long as the mods are right.

3. Rare popular sought after skin.

4. I can very easily put on perfect insight and enchanting upgrades to make it even more appealing, which are the upgrades most users of the staff would surely want.


... I'm almost tempted to keep it since I can surely put it to good use, but alas, I have other things in mind.

Love the rationalization that comes with the request for a PC.

The short answer is that it's a beautiful staff, even though it has a mixed requirement (i.e. Curses/Protection). It's rare to find that mix in a N/Mo or a Mo/N, so I think that haircuts the value (even though you would like to ignore the damage that it has).

I would put this at around 200K given the skin and the perfect mods, however.

Thanks. Thought I might as well put my opinion here as well when asking the opinions of others. So yeah, that's more or less the range I was thinking. My point about ignoring the damage is that most people, myself included, who buy Gold staves are really looking at the bonuses and not the req since we will be casting and not attacking most of the time. (i.e. my Necro's 10/10 with req 12 Dom which my Ranger also uses for trapping) If it has the perfect req for you then it just makes it that much more expensive I guess, as I've seen in some auctions.

That shadow staff skin looks like the jewled staff one i picked up earlier.

Jewled Staves are silver and only come with an Illusion req. Shadow Staves are black and come with all types of req.
