A possible 20/20 Healing Staff?

Hey everyone,

I had given up on finding a collectors healing staff until someone showed me this a little while ago:



I'm aware that there are pvp staffs like this, and I've never done much pvp only stuff but I had thought everything came customized. I was wondering if anyone could tell me where this staff might have come from, since I had looked for a while before both online and in game and never found one of these. Any help would be appreciated.

That isn't one of the collector's staves that has been listed on any website. Unless something has happened with the latest update...

The description is strange as well, since none of the original collector's staves said "halves" before it...they all said "improves".

After the update now anything of mine says halves, but I had been wondering if this was included in the update. They did say someone gave it to them last night though, so the update wouldn't have happened yet. I dunno, I was just curious since a lot of people had been looking for these, and I had never been able to find one so I just assumed they weren't in the game.

How strange. It could be a photoshop or it could be new. If it had been in the game for a while, then we would have known about it.

True, I never saw this before, you are in the american servers, but I don't think staffs are different there. If you want to check which collector gives this staff check www.guildwiki.org. I don't think this is a collector staff though...

Well I just rechecked the collectors, and the one outside port sledge has been changed from 20/20 divine to 20/20 healing, not sure about other collectors or if there is a 20/20 prot staff now too.

I'm going to check it out later, but I'd appreciate it if anyone finds a 20/20 protection one that they would post it on here, and I'll do the same if I find one.

I've been looking for a staff like this as well. Did you actually see that staff in game, or did someone send you that picture?

Today's update notes mention, "Text descriptions and icons of various magic item upgrades have been improved." Maybe one of the Crystal Desert collectors offers this now...

With the new update, instead of items saying "Improves Casting Speed" or "Improved Recharge" they say Halves Recharge and Halves Casting Speed. So now you know exactly how useful these are.

I can't wait to check that out when I get home. I really enjoy using collectors Items like the one by the OP. Like Blaise posted that staff would be outside of Port Slede if indeed the update has it as "halves".

Instead of Improves maximum health

They have changed it for the newb's to the game.

Well I went around to the monk weapon collector's that I know of and this is the only one that I found that was changed (out of 3 holy rods, 2 holy staffs and 2 smite staffs), but if someone does find a 20/20 prot staff or a holy rod with mods other than divine please let me know.

That's so exciting. I've been wanting a healing staff for a long time, but they didn't seem to exist before. I've asked many people and searched guildwiki many times, hoping to find something. I will go look right away. This is great.

Just picked up the new healing staff and am so stoked about it. This will rival the monk green weapons for healing, imo. I know with 99% certainty that this weapon did not exist before the update. Before, all the collector staves were linked to Divine Favor. I wonder what other changes to collector items were made? Poor guildwiki is gonna have to do over time to keep up. lol

so do u think this came with the update? if it did it means others have come too.
