What happened to the SEARCH Function!?!?

It says it is disabled to high usage. It has ben that way for hours.

Anyone know whats up, or when it will be back?

Been that way for days.There is so much info on the site that Search is a very important function to have here.Hope they get it up and fixed soon.

I know, sorry you guys. With the event, the search is literally killing the site. So it's either "Page Cannot Be Displayed" or no search. There's a thread in site feedback with it here:

iv noticed this for some time and yea its not workin in my favor tryin to check some "stuff" and cant isnt gwg gettin new server? maybe that will fix it (i dont know im no computer expert)

Wonder if limiting searches to 1 per 30 seconds or similar would tone down the bandwith/database usage, and still allow some searching..

Anarchy Online's forums had it arranged like that, tho they had the amount of users etc not visible so don't know what kind of loads they were under (and on what kind of server), was the same forum system there tho.
