most would salvage for the energy +5 as u can get 15-20k for that but in my experience u get anything but the upgrade u want.

Wont have a very high value since the base mod is pants IMO

It's a decent staff for starting characters, and as such you could probably get 2-3k in ascalon. The +5 energy mod is worth far more than that though, 25k or so.
