Poison duration question for W/N

I tried searching for this but the searching function was disabled today! (high load)...so apologies if this is common knowledge and there are 100 posts on it.

My question is regarding Poison duration for my warrior/necro.

I have an axe that lenghtens poison duration. And I have necro skills that poison foes. Here are my questions:

1) If i'm weilding my axe and cast a necro spell that poisons foes, is that poison duration lenghtened.

2) If someone else in my party poisons a foe and then I smack them with my axe. Does it lenghten THAT poisons duration too?

I believe none of the Necro skill have poison in them, I'm not 100% sure though. I believe the skill you have spreads Disease, which is quite different from poison even if they have the same color degen.
So your poison Hilt would not extend the duration of the Disease that you cast on the foe.

And if someone else has poisoned them I believe the axe would extend the duration since you're attacking the foe that matches the condition description.

There are several Necro skills that poison foes.

Death Nova
Virulence
Necrotic Traversal

are the 3 I have unlocked so far. I had been using Virulence. Causing a deep wound with Dismember then putting Virulence on them.

there is also chillblains (or whatever it is called) that poisons you and you could transfer it to others...not sure on the effects of your axe though, sorry
