dunno if this is right board but i would think so
load up on critical hits, take a skill like critical eye
take a axe
I swear i deal 70+'s on most enemies..

Second combo, take illusionary weaponry and daggers - you hit really fast, double swings, etc.

See, I don't get the big deal on the A/Me IW combo.

The max you'll hit with IW is 34. Granted, you bypass blind and such, but you just spent a ton of points into Illusion for that one skill. Bit of a waste.

I'd rather load up with 16 dagger mastery, 13/14 Crit Strikes, and the rest in beast mastery for Tiger's Fury and maybe some pet skills. I'm sure that damage output will be higher for that build than in your IW build.

You will deal more then 100 damage - Lets say you get 1 hit per two seconds. 30 seconds=15 hits, not even including the double hits where you strike twice.
15*34=510, more then enough to pretty much decapitate 2 people assuming you get double strikes and your team helps.
Besides you alway take more. You take imagined burden to let you catch up. You take distortion because for some reason, people attack assassins even though they have better armor then spellcasters. You take Illusion of Weakness because it doesn't hurt your energy, and same as distortion.
Hey look, 4 skills already. Add res sig, a disrupt, and 2 more skills, and you are set.

Then you watch how fast IW gets stripped. You also have no heal.

Illusion of Weakness is a heal.

Exactly

Besides, most people dont use enchant strips in pvp. I have never gotten IW stripped.

True, forgot about that.

If assasins do start using this, a lot more people will be stripping IW though. At the moment you dont see it often enough to make it much of an issue. That also applies to illusion of weakness. I just think it relies too much on enchatments, and people will prepare for it.

I personally bring a drain enchantment on my Mes to strip IW and other nasty enchantments for CA. I usually bump my inspiration high enough to get 30-40 hp per energy drained on ether feast, and use the drain enchantment to take down an opponent's critical enchantment and get some energy too.

510 damage over 30 seconds is weaksauce. Any decent axe warrior can out-damage you easily. Evicserate + Executioner + Penetrating > IW. While playing as an IW Assassin isn't quite as stupid as using an IW mesmer (due to the better armor), it is still laughibly weak in terms of firepower, all the more so because of your over-reliance on a single enchantment with a long recast time. The only reason people use IW is because it is shiny and they think they are cool because "omg I'm stabbing u with Chaos!!!"

Not true at all for CA. I can count the number of times IW has been stripped from my mesmer on one hand and it's a killing machine. Armor isn't an issue because warriors dont last long if they go for me. Empathy + disciplined stance while you're hitting them with IW is enough to make them run.
