A couple newb question post sear

Alright I am level 9 right now with 2 of the main missions done and various side quests for more skills and gear. But at this point I have a few questions....

1) I noticed in mission 2 specifically that alot of charr hides dropped, and often salvaged into raw cloth which is my main component thus far in my armor. Is it better for me to kind of farm missions I have already completed for gear/crafting crud or is it better to go venture out further and quest/explore to find new areas?

2) The first pvp arena in Ascalon City, if you keep winning matches is there some goal at the end? I noticed that winning will keep you playing but I havent won more then 2 in a row and was curious if you gained some xp or something for winning a number in a row. Also is these early pvp arenas worth it, or should I keep focusing on pve content to maximize my character?

3) I have been looking but have yet to find a guide to mesmer armor, I want to know what I have to save crafting ingredients wise and what I can sell... So far I am saving everything and my bank space is paying the price.

1) if you need fur you can either, farm the breach (enter from piken square) and salvage the hides or exchange them to a crafter near fort ranik (you can this since the last update)

2) no there is no end, if you hit lvl 11 you cant enter the arena there anymore and you should proceed slowly to yak's bend

3) the amorer shows you what you need, just take a look at the materials.

I'll add to question 2, as Letos pretty much covered everything else. You get experience after those PvP fights. And it will be the same with the PvP arena in Yak's Bend. Now, since I've been on vacation and haven't been able to check out the game after these updates, I noticed there was a change to the rewards of PvP. But I don't know if those have been initiated for these lower PvP arenas or not.
