New to this game N/Me needing help with doppler

I am very new to this game and I am on my first character.I am a lvl 18 N/Me trying to kill the doppler.I have died to him at least 3 times and I am trying to find a way to kill him at my lvl.I have heard that I should use all sac skills but what skills should I use and where do I get them?Ty

for me,i was a n/mo with no monk skills,so i just let him keep on casting defile flesh,and while he shoots his arrow,move opposite directions,so u evade his arrows,hes going to constantly cast defile flesh,so in 4 sacrifices hes dead,i got mine in udner 50sec,i can go n/mes and help u find an easier setup,just hit me in-game at Synthetic the power

hex breaker + empathy + backfire + wastrels = dead dopple
turn on hex breaker before entering
hit him with wastrels the moment you're in to remove his hex breaker (and take some damage)
throw backfire on him
throw empathy on him

I just did this the other night. I used backfire and empathy and don't remember the rest. It was a close one, but it worked. You need to beat him to the punch or he's going to be using the same on you. Maybe interrupt his backfire because that will be his first or second spell cast.

Actually, I believe code has been added to keep him from sacrificing his last hitpoints, however the overall ai, won't let him stop attacking so empathy ftw

My necro, I just hit him with a combo of the blood attacks.
Start with Shadow Strike, Vamp Gaze, Dark Pact...along those lines. If you stick with mainly Shadow/Vamp, he uses Dark Pact more often(faster recharge), and has the same effect they mentioned...killing himself. I'll go try and see if it still works.

Ya he's easy...if you JUST spam the skills I mentioned, you should win. I just did it and had 28hp left. I think if you did the math that'd come out to him using Dark Pact one more time then I did, while I stuck w/ Vamp Gaze.
Round out the rest of your skill bar with Sacrificing skills and it will be over in less than 15 seconds.

no he'll sacrifice all his health. I believed i bought one sacrifice skill from tengsao in amnoon and sergio in LA. But i had 3 sacrifice skills and none others. worked nicely.

You can also try with only these 2 necro skills: Insidious parasite + enfeeble.
Don't attack him tough, just weaken his attacks and steal life this way.

get as much in domination as you can, 0 in blood magic, 0 in curses, use a domination req weapon if you can
bring backfire(dom), defile flesh(curse), enfeeble(curse), dark pact(blood) and vampiric gaze(blood)
You cast Backfire right from the start, and start attacking him with a death weapon (if you have it) until he's dead. He'll cast the spells and take so much damage from backfire that he'll be dead in under 10 seconds.
Just a tip, don't bring hex breaker... ever, he'll always have it up.
