I was wondering exactly how does identifying an item work in Guild Wars. Does being a higher level, or in a different area, affect the out comes of an item once it has been identified?
For example, in Diablo II identifying an item at a higher level will increase your chance of getting better and more suitable for your character mods. Is this true when it comes to Guild Wars? Is there anything I should know when it comes to identifying items?
I'm wondering because I just traded for two unidentified Eternal Shields and I want to identify them, but I'm not sure if I should wait until I hit level 20. The person that found the two shields was a level 20... but I am a level 6.
