Should some warriors have a backup bow?

I don't have a speed skill or crippling attack. I like to keep my bar full of power attacks. While this is often useful sometimes players run and get away (sometimes they run and then make a bad turn and get hit). A few times this happens when they have very little energy left. I'm wondering if I should put a bow in my f3 spot to shoot them when they run. I am a warrior/mo, but maybe if i got an uber bow even the downgraded version of it (since I don't meet the requirements) would still do good enough dmg to finish the kill.

No.
You simply won't be doing enough damage to do so efficiently (think 5-6 damage every 2 secs without a marksmanship score). I'd recommend that you use a skill like Sprint to run them down.. In fact, every warrior should have a sprint/cripple specifically for these situations (I also like Sprint for Oh-Crap-our-MONK!).
But, if you don't want to do that, perhaps you could use some of your monk skills? Bane signet is the only one that comes to mind, and it doesn't do much damage, but it IS a 0-energy skill based on your Smite score, which is more useful for W/Mo than healing anyway.

hmmm i could possibly afford putting the bane signet in. it wouldn't do as much dmg as one of the power attacks but would be close. by the time it casts though they will have some distance on me, i wonder if the knock down would give me time to close

Since you smite anyway, do you use the skill "Smite"? It works using a bow, making a switch to the bow+smite deal a nice chunk of damage at a range.
