Doppleganger; what is the bonus?

so earlier today, i was trying to kill the dopple on my E/Mo10.

i tried to flare him, i tried to nuke him, i was going to use my usual maelstorm/nuke, but i didn't have maelstorm! >.<

so i decided to get my ele down to 10 life, use life viscarously, and protective spirit, and wand him to death.

it takes me roughly 2 minutes to finish him off, but in the end, i killed him, and got all the way to level 15.


i was thinking the bonus was the 50,000 exp, but i got it even though it took me 2 minutes.





so what is the bonus for killing the doppleganger?!?

People say it is 50k but that I'm aware of that is not true at all. The bonus is just 1000 exp. You can see here for yourself as well.

You get 50K xp for killing your doppleganger - this is the Ascention xp bonus. It is the reward for completing the "main" part of the mission, and has nothing to do with the bonus reward.

If you can kill him in under 50 seconds you get the standard mission xp bonus - 1K experience.
