Storyline Speculation *SPOILERS*
Eldin
I'll have to look into that. What I know is:
Ascalon was destroyed by the searing, from there the charr seemed to be slowly winning in the war.
Kryta drove the charr out entirely. Saul D'Alessio formed the mantle when he spread word of the unseen ones after his return from Maguuma.
As for Orr, Khilbron read the text upon one of the forbidden scrolls. The black magic caused The Cataclysm, which is what blew orr up and sent it to the bottom of the sea, and is how he became a lich, and how the citizens of orr (the undead you fight in Kryta) cannot find rest, most likely since their death was influenced by sudden, evil magic and now serve lichie.

Oh Yea, my bad. The guy u want to talk to is "Witness Casori" - GoK
Three Kingdoms - Ascalon, Kryta, Orr.
And the White Mantle was formed by Saul D'Alessio.
So what was the Unseen Powers that Guide the Universe, Flamseeker Prophecy. For some reason I keep think they are Mursaat...lol...oh well.

Unseen Powers are much different from Unseen Ones. Surely the Gods are the ones that guide the universe...unless there is something more. Imagine that XD.

And on another note me and a friend cleared the entire northern wall in pre-sear of charr even the ones that by the big magic thing and the searing still happened...
But I came to thinking that the magic that the Charr used to destroy ascalon was the same magic (tho not quite as powerful) that the Lich used to destroy Orr?
And of course the Mursaat are the reason the charr were driven from Kryta(to bad they skipped the Iron mines mission), and so maybe the charr were trying to advance south to the ring of fire islands to free the titans, the ones they worship. Cause they are in reality lead by the Lich...who used dark magic, when he was mortal(I think), to try and stop the charr from destroying Orr...? But that would mean the charr were trying to free the titans before the Lich destroyed Orr..So..

They said that Orr vanished in a blinding flash of light...think *POOF* or a quick, catastrophic explosion. The Searing, as seen in the pre-searing ending cutscene, was more like an apocalyptic meteor shower. Also, ArenaNet probably doesn't expect anyone to fumble with all of the northern-wall areas. Plus, upon leaving an area, enemies respawn, obviously. :P

why res this thread...its painful to be reminded of a time when gw wasnt pure fail.
Traveller
What really sealed for me that GW storyline isn't world-class literature was that the main antagonist in one chapter used the words "You puny mortals".

tbh i skip every cinematic i see in game. :P

(Have to get this off of my chest, lol)
EotN ending in a nut shell:
Oh hai, instead of answering any questions left over about the GW1 storyline such as who retrieved the Tome of the Rubicon and uttered the Great Destroyer's name or what happened to the likes of Gwen & Co., we're going to force feed you this shitty ending that is really one big advertisement for Guild Wars 2. Have a nice day and don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Chrono Re delle Ere
Well at least Rurik becomes a Zombie-man-eater, with a freaking sword made of fire! And he can pwn your whole party with his 100Blades maaan....
Can there be anything leeter? Of course not.

It seems to me that if you look deep enough into the lore *Like little do on Guru, and a few do on GWO* then you get a few more answers.
Questions I've noticed in this thread...
Rise of the White Mantle? BMP now answers that.
What happened to Gwen? BMP now answers that.
Where are the five bloodstones? 1 in Bloodstone Fen, 1 in Bloodstone Caves, Keystone in Hell's Precipice, speculated one in southern shiverpeaks *could be same as the one in bloodstone caves*, last 1*or 2* is unknown.
Other answers can be found if you pay enough attention. Some of the complaints I saw were just whining from not paying a lot of attention. But kudos to the OP for making the bad/strange points in prophecies funny.
Also, thread necromancy=bad especially when to say "Storyline complaint=*Gag*" no point.

Why don't the mods here close threads that haven't been responded to for almost TWO AND ONE-HALF YEARS!!!!!

you want storyline....well Lore to be precise, in a mmorpg play EvE.
gw is as good as ANY other mmorpg story out there....I suppose CONAN may have potential but i havent played it...but it is hearkening to some pretty awesome Hyperborean fantasy not this DnD clone high fantasy X stuff.

So really, 2 are unknown for exact location, although one of the bloodstones we might know the general location.
Edit: Reading through all of the posts instead of just the 1st page made me realize how poor people actually looked through the lore back before Factions. Course I wasn't playing back then but with just playing the prophecies storyline, I don't get crazy ideas like "the lich created the charr." I knew that the Charr worshiped the Titans, guessed that the Titans used the Lich to free them, and that the Lich was the tricker being tricked.
*And yes, the NPCs are stupid and the whole scepter in the Lich's hand during cutscenes was a bad giveaway, even though I figured out that the Lich was Khilbron during the Riverside Providence "briefing"*.
