effects on ch 1

A question. Will new content be added to Ch 1 for the new classes. Such as daggers dropping, new bosses with elites for Assassins and Ritualists. Some reason for new Ch 2 players to buy the old game.

you need ch1 to play ch2, i thought...

and i don't think they will do that even if it is possible.

chapter two is not a straightforeward expansion to chapter 1. ch2 can be bought independantly; but you will only be able to play ch. 2 material.

RoK: there are lots of thing we dont know yet BUT we know that if you dont have chapter two and u only have ch1, you WILL NOT be able to play as the new proffesions. at all.

There will probably be an update for Chapter 1 players that allows them to see and -maybe- even play with or against Assassins and Ritualists. They probably just won't be able to go to Cantha, have access to the cool new features, or play as the Assassin or Ritualist. That's just my guess though.

I'm guessing its going to work like the NWN expansions did for online play. You can see the new classes and skills, you just can't use them.

ch.2 stuff is alredy dropping in chapter 1

Search for it in this forum. There's a ritual wand, but that's the only new weapon I've seen/heard.
