More pre buyer questions

Are all the profesions (ranger, necromancer and so forth) balanced or in some kind of feudal system where oen guy is weak to another who is weak to another and so forth? Or is there proffesions that are a little bit stronger than everyone else?

Also I read somewhere that you get two proffesiosn that 'meld' togther. Am I right? if so whcih proffesions work best with which.

They're all balanced pretty well. And there's a great deal of variety between different members of the same profession, depending on skill choices. There are builds that specialize in preying on enemies of a certain type, but nothing as simple as "mesmer beats necro beats warrior beats mesmer" or whatever.

Every character gets a secondary profession as well as their primary, so you can include some mesmer skills on your elementalist or whatever for even more variety. Most pairings have some useful combinations. It's less about trying to be two classes at once, more finding ways in which your secondary can enhance what you're trying to do with your primary. (Or vice versa, in some cases.)
