W/mo griffon farming

ok with this build I farmed a lot griffons

1: Cyclone Axe
2: Gladiator’s Defense (Elite)
3: Bonetti's Defense
4: Shield Stance
5: healing breeze
6: mending
7: Live Vicariously
8: Vigorous Spirit

armor: full platemail 1.5k

runes: major absortion, minor vigor, major axe mastery, minor tactics, minor strength.

attributes: healing 10, axe mastery 8(6+2)
2), tactics 13(12+1)

weapon: axe of fortitude health +28(isnt really needed)
shield: eternal shield armor 16 reduce dmg by 2

this is what you need to do:

you exit augury rock on the south side(i am not sure)
first you cast mending, this gives you 3 pips health regen.
when your energy is 20 again you cast Live Vicariously.
youre energy wont regen anymore so it will stay 15.

now run to the griffons, dont attack the devourers.
when u enter the griffon area just attack a random group(but no boss group)
start with Vigorous Spirit then cyclone axe, wait until you can use bonetti's, when availble cast it and let ur energy regen(u gain 5 energy each time the griffons miss) when you got 20 energy again cast gladi's defense and use cyclone axe till gladi's defense ends. when it does cast bonetti's again and repeat it all....

notes: when u are low on health cast Shield Stance and cast healing breeze.
and dont forget to recast vigo spirit time-to-time

cast gladiators defense as mob attacks
use bonettis and healing seed as needed

noobish, but, what do you get from griffons?

lots of golden and purple items

I use a build like that, your build is pretty much the same as everyone else's. It's the basic build to farm a W/Mo with.

I use this Shield:

Tall Shield - GOLD
Tactics 8 Reg
Armor 16
Recive -2 damage (While in a Stance)

I got that shield off the griffins too.


I wouldn't even griffin farm really, the rock shots and the running time make it not worth your while. Hydra farming is a lot better. You can farm for like 40 mins in the hole desert leaving from the North Entrace from Rock and get 5-10k loot a run. I just finished my run and made 10k, well a bit over but 10k none the less. When I griffin farm I make 1-2k a run, unless I get some good golds or keys.

Nice build though anyways.

EDIT: Another reason I believe it isnt worth it, is because one griffin run getting about 4 groups or so killed takes about 10mins making about 1k or so.

How does Full Platemail cost 1.5k? It's 1.5k x 5 for the set + the materials.

ur right.....and the armor part...7.5k armor is a bit confusing=P

this for me is to slow to attack i think i wud need an attack speed skill which 1 u think wud b a skill i cud remove to add some attack speed?

Weapon: Razorstone
Shield: Tanzit's Defender

What I do:

Cast mending, then I minimize. check MSN or whatever (hehehe) then I bring it back, with 20 energy and cast Live Vicariously. Run along with my 15 energy, pop on Dolyak, then Vigorous Spirit, then Cyclone. Then for Gladiator's. when that's nearly out, Bonetti's. Healing Breeze after that and it's pretty clean sailing.

I find this one fun then my other builds, just because it's a bit touch-and-go
