Hi everyone. My friend recommended that I use this build, but I'm not sure what gear I should use with it. Right now I have low-level pyromancer gear. I'm still wondering what would be the best weapon, though.
Advice for armor/weapons for my build

For armor just pick an element that you want protection from. I picked Hydro as I figured it would help in the mountains and again in the Fire Islands with Winter up.
I have a head piece with each of the bonuses + a superior rune so I can use whichever build I desire. I keep a minor energy, earth, fire and vigor in the rest of the armor as I am more likely to use those realms with another primary focus.
Then use a weapon for whatever your primary focus is: fire, air, etc. I have either a staff or wand+artifact for each so again I can use whatever magic I desire.
The only trouble with Soul Feast is a potential lack of corpses, either because the enemies do not leave bodies or they are getting used up by team mates or enemy necros - which are common as you move thru the game. Blood magic and Vampiric Gaze is another, weaker option.
I would also swap lava font for inferno. You don't want to be in melee and LF will drive away attackers. I also prefer fireball over phoenix, but both are good.

Thanks for the advice. I switched to LF and it's working great so far.
My last question is where do you find this kind of gear? Is it mostly drop stuff? Or are there better crafters out there? I'm still in post-Searing Ascalon and the stuff the NPCs sell sucks
