Hi,
I have been trying to figure out a running build for the copperhammer to granite run and other southern shiverpeaks runs.
Can any one offer a build for me? The skills I figure on are
Equipped: HOD w/+18%, -50 offhand
Blessed Aura (37% longer monk enchantments)
Spellbreaker (29 seconds, from HOD and Blessed Aura)
Mending (4 pips)
Healing Breeze (only when mending isn't enough)
Prot Spirit (well, duh...)
Illusion of Haste (12 seconds, from HOD)
Essence Bond (energy)
Mantra of Resolve (to recast spellbreaker)
I may have the wrong approach here. Advice appriciated.

Mo/R is my combo of choice, I think Mesmer second is an awful idea.
It would look like this:
Prot Spirit
Breeze
Spellbreaker
Blessed Signet
Storm Chaser
Mending
Balthazar's Spirit
Blessed Aura
Mending with 4 pips obviously, since there's a lot of degen in Southern Shiverpeaks. I put about 6-7 points in Wilderness Survival for a decent Storm Chaser (13-14 sec)
I can run Granite -> Copperhammer great now (only run I've been practicing
) I'll try others soon :P
As for the weapon, I'd prefer a Fiery Flame Spitter over a HoD, the 5 energy isn't too crucial, whereas the 10% recharge will really help if it kicks in for Spellbreaker

I agree 100% with cerb's build (probably partially because I helped him come up with it? :O). Congrats on getting the run down cerb, and yes, /mes is a terrible idea for running. Either go /w and take sprint, or /r and take storm chaser.

Ive almost made it from war to granite, a couple of times dual running , but theres lots hexes out there and sometimes people get unlucky and cannot run it pretty much and 55 normal build can run it Cerbs build is a normal running build that should work depends on the spawn also

Sno trying to take credit haha :P
Nah seriously, I already used the Ranger running build before you showed me the war... I told you I was running Deldrimors -> SF huh? That's why I thought Ranger worked a bit better than what you used, but then you bringed up the cooldown comparison, so I'd say both are good, depends on what you're running. Mo/W for getting past small groups and Mo/R for getting past huge groups (since you can run faster, longer with Storm Chaser, but it has a 30s cooldown, compared to the 20s of Sprint)
