Sorry for raising the point about the site being slow again. But there was no need for the attitude expressed in your closure post.

Search is disabled - So I couldn't look that way.

And pages take an everage 3 minutes to load, so making a new post was the fastest way to get a reply.

Ban me if you don't like my attitude, but I just wanted to know something.

There are two ways to deal with a problem ... (1) point and shout or (2) get busy fixing. I appreciate the work of all those contributing to the running of guildwarsguru because they are workers, not talkers.

PS: Did you ask yourself how your comments reflect on yourself before you hit "Submit"?

I won't argue the semantics of it but I will say that nobody put the blame on you for not searching or taking the time to look through the site feedback. If I had found it necessary to inform you of something done wrong, you would've recieved a private message from me about it. As far as I was concerned it was an open and shut case, no harm no foul, whatever other maxims you prefer.

However, this topic submits a potential issue. I've not yet recieved a PM from you concerning the closure of the topic in question. It's not only preferred but required by the guidelines that these topics do not exist in the open forum. It's something that can be easily handled on a private basis and has no place here.

Sorry that you feel the tone was distasteful in your closed topic. Understand that we see multiples of that type of topic per day, and that we intuitively trust users to know that the Game Discussion Forum is not the Site Feedback forum, and that they can take the time to at least look at the main page of the relevant forum before making a topic in another.

We're not so strict as to ban for personal preference. We ban based on rule violations, none of which you've broken in this series of events as I'm concerned, but you would do well to reread the guidelines, and have patience.
