Is it just me, or does expertise now only work on attacks, preps, and traps?
Did it work on Spells at one point?
Or am I just imagining things...

Don't think its ever worked on spells, just skills/preps/traps/stances. I'll wait to be backed up on that

All skills that are not enchantments/wards/spells/hexes, well all skills that aren't spells basically. Traps, preps, nature rituals, stances, attack skills, shouts and glyphs (i think) are affected by Expertise.

Since the search feature is currently disabled, I will tell you that Expertise has never affected spells. They will however affect any thing that is designated a 'skill' in the description. Look at the Necro skill 'Vampiric Touch' for an insight on how to make an effective R/N.

I was under the impression that expertise only affected ranger skills-rangers not having any spells themselves.

It even affects signets, if someone is using that nature ritual that makes signets cost energy.

Expertise DOES effect Signets under Primal Echoes
-just- tested it as well to confirm... and my signet only cost 4 energy... at 14 expertise

go max out your expertise and try out skills..when your energy is spent subtract the number from your maximum energy and theres your answer

Monks have skills as well... such as CoP, Smite and Holy Strike... Expertise effects those
