Change Animal Skill

ok i have a quick question ive read up on other forums when you want to change your animal all you have to do is take the skill off. but ive killed the pet and i want a new one but it keep's on coming back alive and me and my guild would like a better pet then the cat you get when you change to a Ranger. So can someone tell me how i can change my pet and how to get rid of and change them.

You have to visit a tamer to get rid of your animal. One is right outside the gates of Ascalon.

And, if you're still in Pre Ascalon.. the tamer is standing next to master ranger Nente.

what animal do you want?
