In my opinion, Black works, but only with predominantly non metal pieces. The same goes for white really. Everybody knows white doesn't look particularly brilliant on obsidian warrior armour. Still, there are exceptions to the rule in any case. Generally, dyes that achieve a high level of contrast with the uncolourable sections of the armour look best and as warrior armour is mainly dark coloured, bright dyes tend to work the best.

im not afan of Primevil armor in general, and yes black dye looks awful on it

Yeah, black on Primeval looks bad, the undyeable areas are light grey and the black looks too much on it. Especially in towns where armors are not detailed.

hehe, the 1.5k glads is one of the best female warrior armours, imo. i will eventually get her vabbian i think, but i'm still saving up

FoW, quest reward chest. And i've grown quite attached to it, sadly. All my money is going towards my monk's new set atm, I'm content with my warrior's armour for now.

In my search for that "Dark Knight" look, I decided to get w/ the NF gladius and Lion shield + newly bought 15k kurzick(in which I was very unhappy w/ the way the new dye system affects it) + 2 black dyes(5 of which I already own) making it the most expensive impulse I have ever done. I'm happy w/ the way things shaped, but I detested how the new black dyes on the new armor templates are doing. I preferred the old 15k kurzick dyed black, but oh well, can't change now. Damn costed me about 180k for such vision which didn't turn out perfect.

Well I finally got it, 10k Ancient from the Bone Palace. It's dyed silver atm and has no runes or insignias on it. This makes this my 5th 15k/10k armor set on this char. WE NEED ARMOR STORAGE A-NET!

or whatever drive you installed Guild Wars in, it will be in that folder.

I went for the Black Knight also, and this was my result. I love how the Shield dyed. I really wish the armour dyed the same. But Oh well.

I like that black dye on the 15k Kurzick, pat yourself you did a good job.
On the same note, I prefer the old black dye on the 15k Luxon, the one new black dye looks too dark and looks strange.

I've got a pic somewhere so I'll post it later. Found it: Looks like purple to me unless I'm just color blind  I like how the new black looks on 15k Luxon b/c it actually makes it look black!

I got a little tired of seeing Primeval on my warrior, so I decided to mix and match. The dyes don't match, neither do the boots, but somehow it's grown on me.
