X/Ranger = do i keep pet if change sec

As title

If my W/R has a pet and i change the secondary, do i get the pet back if i change my secondary back to Ranger.

I want to get a pet you see, but i change secondary all the time so dont want a wasted effort.

Hmmm, never tried. I recently made my elem into /ra and charmed a lizard, I can try it if nobody else answers first. I would assume you keep it though.

yes, you do. i used to be a w/r and i still have my cat fluffy when i change back.

I changed from W/Mo to W/R. When I equipped Charm Animal, I immediately had my stalker that I charmed doing the presearing secondary prof quest for experience.

I have a W/Mo and I have done all the secondary classes. Anytime you want to change back to an old secondary you will regain any skills you aquired for that class. So, yes you will still have your pet.

I never tried it, but I know it works. My friend changes his warrior al the time from W/E to W/R. He keeps his pet, no matter how many times the changes his 2nd prof.

how do i change my second proffession?

There are quests in the outposts in the desert. You must do at least one of them to get the quest from Sanyi to get the 2nd 15 point attribute quest. Or something like that.

To my surprise, I had to do the Monk's Path quest after changing my Ranger from r/mo to r/mes. I assumed that I wouldn't have to do it. Anyway, you can do up to 5 of the quests. 2 are at each outpost. 1000xp each. I suggest doing them all so you can change at any time. Just go back to one of the NPCs and select which secondary. Its very easy.
