Well with the event over what did you guys think? Anything that should be improved upon for the next event? I thought it went great myself, way more content than I was expecting. The Battle Isles are awesome! here's a few things i'd like improved before or during the event....

INCREASE THE FACTION LIMIT!!!!!!


Seriously, what reason is there to limit our faction? This limit makes as much sense as stopping a character from earning experience after level 20. If we earned it we should be allowed to save it, period. I've talked to plenty of people who were dissapointed that they could only save up to 10k faction before the event. It really limited the ammount of skills/runes you could unlock for the new classes making it extremely difficult to get a decent feel for them and trying different builds.

The Temple:


Great temple of balthazzar is pretty pointless. A cool idea for this place is to make FoW accessible from here. Every God can have his own temple thus making it easier for people to find a group to the God Area they desire. This isn't much of a problem yet but once areas open up for the rest of the Gods ToA will get really obnoxious. Also, how about opening the road from Temple to Z. Challenge?

Z.Challenge/Z Elite:


A cool idea but will get very unpopular soon. Players really need some incentive to bother with these. Adding more builds to fight would make it a little bit more worthwhile. I'd suggest giving them Mission Complete/Bonuses. Example:
Z. Challenge: Mission objective: Defeat 5 groups Bonus: Defeat all groups(add up to 10 to choose from).
Z.Elite:Mission: Defeat 10 groups. Bonus: Defeat 10 groups flawlessly.

the faction limit is in place to prevent Faction farming of NPC. however when you play in PvP or Hoh or GvG all faction rewards have no limit... Its just to prevent Farming the easy NPCs for faction.... that's all. Of course there are a few ways around that limit, but frankly I'm more for removing all faction from the NPC areas... Faction belongs to the PvP world not PvE... So it really has no place in a Mission. Except for the fact that once the game goes live each new account will have to qualify itself to get to the heroes ascent and such. 2 paths. random then team then HA... OR Z Challenge Z elite then HA... Either way will get you where you want to be Heroes Ascent.

Actually... now that I think about it... I think there will be one more mission type area after Z elite... cause I thought I saw a NPC talking about one in HA and Z elite... Probably that other island off to the east side of the battle isles map....

To Ingram: Uhm, no the 10k faction cap has been in the game. You can only get 1k faction from the NPC training missions. I don't think you read his question carefully.

The 10k cap, as far as I can tell, is to keep people from saving up 3 million faction and then unlocking *everything* in Chapter 2 in one fell swoop.

And I don't see adding PvE content to the temple, as it's the city of the PvP continent. It's fairly pointless, but it's a place to hang out.

oh yea I see that.. ok lol but I guess I spend all mine pretty quick anymore. been unlocking builds I don't play in pve much. like necro and mesmer...so I never got to 10k faction. lol I spend it by the time I get to 9k for elites... oh well sorry.. I thought you were talking about farming the npcs... and that as you can tell I'm quite against.
