drawing on radar.

im tired of joining PUG's and some random person maliciously drawing all over the radar just to annoy some players.
one thing i would like to suggest is when someone is drawing on the radar.. a lil message (where you can 'customize' to put somewhere discreet) that shows "Player X is drawing on Radar." to show that this person is drawing.. i think it'll reduce the amount of drawing on the radar. since some people are real big babys when it comes to doing something publicly instead of doing it when everyone knows, unless your a real _____.
i'm sure this won't really effect a lot of the malicious drawings on the radar.. but atleast you'll know who the ___ is. >.>
just my thoughts. thank you~ ^^;

Good idea. Maybe people will actually follow the tank's arrows when he tells them to get the redengine back, because he's going to aggro too much when he doesn't have space to fall back to

I agree. That way you know who is trying to screw up the team and who is actually leading.
And then they need to add a /slap (person's name) emote that disables their drawing for the next 5 minutes. 3 slaps = no more drawing.

I was wondering if something like this could be implemented a while ago, albeit a little different. Like, maybe the lines on the radar could be in different colours for each party member, and a corresponding colour next to the player's name in the party window?
Stop drawing male genitalia on the radar plzkthx >_<

And you would be able to disable one person's radar art.

This is a good idea, ive heard it before but it is still a good idea.
Perhaps they could give you the ability to turn off the drawing.

/signed, is an excellent idea. And Temp is ftw. <3

This would work quite nicely with a majority rules "kick member from party" option.

a simple number in the corner with the player number , each time someone is drawing you would see the player number. also disable that player drawing to your compass would be good. something like a check box eneble/disable drawings for that player. or to make it simple in terms of GUI improvements , the ignore list would disable the drawing powers of that player. and instead of a number at corner of compass , the name in party box would change color when he is drawing. or a simple color circle in name would gain ligh.
basacly
- identify drawing person
- ignore list removes drawing powers

Yes please! Give PUGs some redeeming factor at least.

Yes, players drawing rubbish or pinging all over the radar for their own amusement is very annoying. It would be nice to be able to block their scribbles or stop them from doing it.

It's very annoying to find someone drawing scribblies on top your attack plan, and making a good leader identify-able (sp?) makes it easy who to try again with and who to lose in a hurry when you are going to try the same mission/quest/PvP party again.

Full endorsement here!!!
Radar is an awsome tool, that is sadly abused and abused....
I think the biggest step forward would be to give you the ability to see who is engaging the map...
It would have to be colour coated, otherwise how could two ppl draw at same time, allowing you to still tell who is writing what...?
I'd just like to know where the party "leader" wants us to go...
On another note, party leaders should establish rules when forming a PUG stating that they are the only ones aloud to draw...
Leaders need the balls to kick someone from the group if they arn't on page right from the begining....
