Pre-Searing Questions

I was asked to collect 5 Skale Fins, where may I get them?
Secondly, where is the "Resurrection Signet"?
Thanks.

Outside Ascalon City, to the left of the path that runs to Ashford Abbey is river. There are loads of river skales there. Kill them and they will drop skale fins amongst other things.
[ADDED]
If it's for the first profession starter quest, then the 5 river skales should be along the path to Ashford Abbey.
Just outside of Ascalon City gate, talk to the NPC named "Lina" for the 'Adventure with an Ally' quest for the Res Signet. You'll just need to have someone else in your party to complete the quest.

Scale fins come from the river scales outside of the main Building "Ascalon City", they also drop crap weapns and a few gold pieces. There is a collector just outside the gate that also wants 5 for giving you a 5 slot bag.
The res sig, comes from Lina the Healer, she will have a "!" over her head after you complete your first mission. She is tired of all the soloist getting themselves killed, so if you party up with some one she will give you a res sig.
Just shout in Ascalon city "LFG for res sig" some one will join up.
Next commonly asked question; "where are the boot armor upgrades?" They are in the catacombs section of Ashford Abby, the armor collector wants 5 gargoyle skulls. When you are there enter the second gate, go behind the building there, go right, cross the bridge, follw the path, past the catherdral, left, then right at the cross roads, follow the path. When the light starts to get red you are almost there kills the gargoyles if needed, talk to the collctor, go thhrough the next gate to the Barradin's Estate.
Some professions can get boots from the colector that is between the main path from ascalon and the bandit hide out.
I was way to slow

Hi guys, a few more questions, please help me if you got a moment to spare:
1) A Gift for Althea - Usually with quests, I just follow the green arrow going form place to place, but this one, there is no direction, where and how can i get this "perfect gift"?
2) Fwen's Flute - the little girl said, the flute is just across the riven, but I explored the areas for half a day, I see no flute laying around (even when I press the ALT key).
3) I read the two guides reguarding to pre-searing quests and such, it seems to suggests, "Tithe for Ashford Abbey offers a free skill point".
Is there any other quests that provide such kind of offer?
4) Also here it said, "Head to all of your primary profession and secondary profession skill trainers before leaving. Learn all the skills the trainers can teach, in the long run skill points are limited and all skills here are basically free. "
The impression I got from this is that, the trainers would give you skills that you keep for the rest of your character's life, but in truth, each time you go and experience a new second profression, they remove thouse of your last trainer.
So am I correct that the skills given by all the secondly trainers are not to be kept for good?
