Hi, I was wondering for a while now how I could go about transferring gold and other items across different accounts. I do not trust any of my guildmates with 100k and other nice things.. Even though I've known the majority of them for 6 months or so I could'nt just get around to letting them on my account.
Anyways.. is there an alternate way to do this?
Thanks!
Edit: Transferring* across accounts.

when search is back uo there are ways listed as to running 2 accounts on the same pc at the same time to trade with yourself.
i just use 2 pcs with one running each account

There is also a way to have 2 instances of GW up at one time. (sicne you have 2 separate accounts, it would work). I'd go with that, a friend or a mod.
I'd volunteer to help, but you wouldn't trust me more than likely

2x GW Clients - How To (Tutorial)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, Before anyone says ANYTHING!!!
Editing the GW Client is against the AUP, HOWEVER...
Im posting this here purely for educational purposes, and because so many people wonder how I did it, and have asked me to do it for them... This would need doing after each update. and this should not be attempted by anyone who is inexperienced, or un-sure..
With that said.... This is the simplest method for anyone..
1) Copy guild wars into a second folder, and re-name the exe to Gw2.exe
2) Open up a HEX editor (Such as Winhex) and open Gw2.exe in the editor... You then need to "Find and Replace" each and every occurance of "Guild Wars" (Without the quotes) with something like "Gu1ld W4rs" or anything that is the same number of characters (10 letters long, including space)
3) You need to make 2x .reg files.. the easiest way of making these is go to Start>Run, type regedit - next, navigate to.. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Ar enaNet - Right click on the Arenanet folder, and click Export..
3a) This will save it to a .reg file, you need to make 2 copies of this file and then edit one of them so that the PATH= is the same as your second copy of guild wars (so you have 1.reg for copy 1, and 2.reg for copy 2) (Remember to use a \\ for the path EXAMPLE: "C\GuildWars2\\Gw2.exe"
4) Next, double click 1.reg, click yes, and load up your first guild wars, Then, click 2.reg, click yes, and load up your SECOND copy of Guild Wars..
You should now have 2 clients running...
NOTE: There may (some times) be some texture break up, or wrong textures on some characters or landscape, this is (i am guessing) due to sharing violation on the gw.dat file, or it may just be a GFX driver issue, I am not 100% sure, either way, I thought i'd mention it..
Quote:
WARNING and DISCLAIMER: I claim NO Responsibilty if you break your copy of guild wars, (hey, you can always just reinstall it) or if either of your accounts get banned, As mentioned above, editing the GW client is against the AUP and therfore should not be attempted, This method is however tried and tested.. I Offer no support on this subject other than the brief tutorial above.. This method does not allow you to run 2 characters from a single account...
EDIT
AND HERE IS THE OTHER ONE
