Update - Thursday January 26

* Modified the Sacred Temples and Unholy Temples tournament maps so that players cannot pass relics across barriers.

* Added Japanese translations in preparation for today's Japanese launch of Guild Wars.

* Changed the morale boost in Isle of the Nameless from 2% to 10%.

* In the "Iron Mines of Moladune" mission, henchmen now become infused when your team gives the Spectral Essence to the Seer.

* Modified Skill Bar tool tips so that they don't overlap the Health and Energy bars.

* Fixed minor bugs in the following quests: "The Nameless Masters" and "The Hero's Challenge."

* Fixed minor bugs in the following missions: "Iron Mines of Moladune" and "Sanctum Cay."

* Fixed a bug that eliminated the recharge time from the following Ranger skills: Distracting Shot, Savage Shot, Concussion Shot, and Punishing Shot.

Henchies now infuse
Skill bar doesn't overlap health

Fixed recharge times on some ranger skills

Looks like my kind of update to me.

Unfortunately if the health bar is on top of the energy bar it still overlaps but oh well. I appreciate the effort.

Sooo, are the henchies infused just for that mission, or for your character? That is, are they always infused for every mission and the world map, etc, or only for the last part of the iron mines of moladune?

Have any other runners noticed that the same update seems to have affected the Droknar run?

One runner I know casually (from all the times I have bumped into him and chatted for a bit at Beacons) said yesterday he was giving up the run, as he did not feel like a pro any more- since the update he was having an awful time of it. I don't want to name names, but this was someone I considered to be a pro and who generally had a good record.

I guess part of what seemed strange is that it is par for the course to see new 'runners' in Beacons every week, spamming cheap prices. When they disappear and are never seen again I usually assume it is because they have found the run harder than they expected and given up. It is much more unusual for a real pro to retire.

Has there been another nerf, or was he just unlucky? I did some tests with him to see if he was right and the imps did seem more spread out consistently, but when I went back last night by myself it was only marginally difficult.

no there was no quickshot nerf - basically ranger interupts were broken again since the aftershot-delay was not implemented anylonger.
this bug made it possible (like it was last summer) to chain dual.punish.savage.distract into one 5arrow in 1.5 sec combo. add prep and enjoy the fun!
no seriously - it's good they fixed that. (well i still think that 1.5seconds of foot-freezing is no solution but wth )

while the update came i was in moladune with a friend (the new moladune that was supposed to work) infusion and alien-cutscene -- working fine.
but markis still was nowhere to be found. (1 monk + 1 ranger cleared almost everything, henches died way too fast against mursaat to be any help.)

i was ever so cheerful when i realised there was no aftershot anymore.

crapway neither needs to be updated nor does it need any commenting


@divine: ranger spike is like it was. there was a short time when they were "buffed" cause anet forgot to put the aftershot delay on the interupt shots.
that meant you were able to chain your arrows and shoot 5 with preps to the target in 1.5 seconds: now things are back to normal (as they were since end of summer when the aftershot was introduced the first time). no more chains of interupt arrows...

for a short moment yes: and it was AWESOME - but slightly overpowered.
now you need some brain-expertise to get the max out of the interupt shots - but it is still possible to spike people without leaving a chance, no worries.

As of last night at 11 pm EST (well after the update was posted) henchies still did NOT get infused when you give the Seer the Spectral Essence.

never use real pople in this mission, even the henchie died for couple of times. I only party with people in THK, which require some team work and strategy.

While I appreciate the fix for the hint pop-ups I will really like it when the option to turn them off functions.
