Balthazar 's sprit V.S Essence Bond

Everyone knows these two skills would give u energy per time u being attacked ....

IF you got to decide one of 2 thse skills, which one would u choose in case of solo farming. (mobs surround)

Balthazar's spirit, it triggers on all types of damage.

They updated Essence Bond recently I think, so it's no longer just physical damage.

In some situations you may find it ideal to use both.

If you are soloing, and you are going to chose one, I always pick balthazar's... even though essence still does trigger on all damage.
That's the answer to the question, but in groups, sometimes essence has an advantage. If you have a designated tank in your group, everyone casting essence bond on him/her will get energy each time (well tested with 2 people, he said he got energy and I know I got energy). Balthazar's give energy to the person who actually gets enchanted by it (I think)

I personally run them both. It allows for a couple of energy intensive skills to be added to the skill bar, making them spammable.
