Building a perfect toon can be very expensive. I have spent a fortune on just both my W and M for farming/PvE. Just wondering what the rest of you have spent overall.

Everything before Droks armor and Farming drained me = 20K
7 perfect req 9 15^50 or enchant axe and swords = 800K
Mals Shield = 60K
Desert collectors shield * 2 = free from farming materials
Many nice free weapons/shields and perfect mods in drops
Drago's Bow 55K
15k armor * 2 = 150K plus materials

That is over 1 million and I didn't include all of the items that I have paid for on the way or how many perfect weapons I have paid for just so a friend would get his dream weapon this christmas.

My monk is even sicker than that. If only I could have back all my money and still be wearing Droks and wielding a collectors weapon and shield all the time I would be a rich man.

I know that many of you have paid a lot more than me in the long run. I am just interested to know what the cost of your toon is. Seems to me like there is far more money than people think in Guild Wars.

Full Droknar's Knights with Ascalon Helm, then switched to full wvyern with plate gloves (still Ascalon Helm). From there I moved to Fissure Chest/Leggings, 15k Dragon gloves/boots, with a 15k Ascalon Helm.

I had to buy two superior vigor and absorption after failing on the salvage when upgrading my appearance. Gone through... I think, 10 different 4 colour dye combos (not to mention the cost of experimenting with dye combos) although none of them involved Black or Silver.

Shelter for my one sword that I bought for 10k (was knew at the time), 14% sword while in stance was 10k... 15% stance req 8 sword was 50k... then my req 7 was 150k.

I pamper my warrior I think...

Full drok armor at first, using a rare I found..
Then full virtuoso 15k
Then on to full enchanter 15k

Now with full FoW ( dyed blue + green + black)...

Then bought 15k noble (dyed black) for 55hping... been quite lucky, got super vig free, and I'm using a 9/8 +30hp +5ar req8 Ghostly staff I found while soloing, so didn't have to buy a wep.

All in all, mesmers are cheap

I spent 2x15k on armor for my now deleted ele
Prefer the look of the 1.5k droks necrotic on my necro
1x15k for my ranger
Still comtemplating what type of 15k to get my mes
Spent 8K per piece on fow armor for my monk - crafted all my vellum, farmed all my ecto. even though ecto was only 3-6K back then i wasn't about to buy them =)

My only weapon purchase ever was a crystalline sword for about 200K which now i don't even use

the rest of my chars love their collectors items, farmed greens and salvaved perfect mods hehe

i've always wondered whether those who spend a lot in gw are/will be in credit card debt also =)

Me NoFat, I wouldn't sweat it. You have two perfectly setup characters right?
I'd be proud of them.

I used to horde everything and not pay much attention to buying/selling of items. I was poor. Becoming a student of Racthoh, I've become a lot braver, and actually go INTO the FoW and Underworld. It was the first time I'd really spent a decent chunk of change for weapons, let alone pay gold to get into an area.

I've spent at least a quarter million gold on stuff. Worst purchase was my 15K Ascalon set for my warrior that I wore about 2 weeks...and then salvaged it. Didn't really care for how it looked, nor did I know about the non-stacking absorbtion.

Storage is sitting at about 500K, and its burning a mighty hole in my characters pocket. Might have to look into the Fissure armor deal

depends on what you call perfect...

Weapons
------------------------------------------------------------------
I think collectors weapons with +5 armor and +5 insightful are perfect. Other people think a ghostly staff with +30HP X2 is perfect.

In my mind costly not = perfect.

Armor
-----------------------------------------------------------------
I have 2 sets of 15K but to me, perfect is droknar's. 15K is vanity.

I can't waste time selling stuff so I suaully give away what I do not use.

Ugh. I'm not even going to post how much money I've spent and never seen a return

8 deleted 15k sets. 3mil or so in weapon depreciation/customizing then deleting/donations.

Now I'm trying to sell off my horrid item investments to get some fissure without touching my stash funds... what a waste, eh?

Eleven characters is even worse. My ele is somewhat spoiled, She's the first character I completely beat the game with. Four sets of 15K armor, all 4 green staves, complete sets of wands/offhands for each magic. My primary warrior has aslo been a huge gold sink. Around 25 swords, 8 shields, perfect axe and hammer, and various headpieces. Axe warrior has a growing collecion of cleavers, 15K armor as well. Two monks with two sets of tats each. Couple rangers with a half dozen bows each, 15K sets, and drok sets for actually working in, couple necros with a serious case of item collection too. Total expenditures are probably approaching 10 million.

But there's no point to make it you're not gonna spend it.
