Elites
firestar314
Hi, I'm trying to decide how to spend my faction. I have a trapping ranger, and i'm thinking about getting spike trap-but I'm not sure if that's useful, cause I have barbed trap... Should I get incedinary [can't spell it
] arrows instead? Or should i get something like lightning reflexes...or healing spring?

btw, don't know how I doubleposted

well... if ur a trapper... either Spike Trap {E} or Oath Shot {E} are great elites to buy... healing spring is also very handy when u do trapper-ball groups

You need whirling defense, it's very usefull. For an elite as a trapper I would take Spike or Oath, just like Valerius said. Incandairy arrows isn't very usefull cause the recharge is too long and you're a trapper not an interupt0r.

were do u get spike trap?

Spike trap is ok, especially if you're a *shudder* pvp trapper, but oath shot is much better for farming, because you're usually whirling + dust trap + oath + retrap.
Phoenix Arrows
Using Faction = PvP, so no farming...
If you plan to trap in PvP, it would be one of these (no particular order):
1) Spike Trap (Wilderness Survival
2) Oath Shot (Expertise)
3) "Victory Is Mine!" (Warrior, Tactics)
1) For IWAY, if anyone runs it anymore.
2) For balanced groups, being a trap + spirit spammer.
3) For VIMWAY, not sure if anyone runs it.
The above posted is for Heroes' Ascent, as running a Trapper in Random or Team Arenas isn't exactly a great idea.
Also, I haven't been doing Heroes' Ascent for a while, so this information may not be accurate.
Hope it helps!
