does anyone have a good traper build i just started using ranger, o and is a trapper good 4 solo farming?

trapping used to be very effective for solo farming... but now that mobs flee from AoE... which are traps... it's not so much effective... 2-4 man trapping is still effective tho

While the AoE nerf sucked intensely for most classes, trappers came out ahead in that deal - especially solo. See, before the AoE nerf, mobs would run into your traps and stay there - yeah, they may have taken more damage from the traps initially, but they are still in your face ready to interrupt any subsequent traps you may wish to employ. With the new AI, the enemies run in, get hosed, limp away, you lay more traps (with no risk of interruption), they limp back, get hosed again... it's a vicious cycle.

very true, finally found someone that had the same thought as me.

ppl need to know that the new AI made trapping much more easy
