Guild Emblemer sucks

Anyone try to make a cape notice how the lighting on the preview SUCKS?

Its all dark and impossible to see what your cape will turn out. *annoyed*

I'm unhappy with the cape guy period...and the guild guy...can I get a guild name chage option plz...charge if you must but still

Can the cape gradation be a little smother as well...

in the scheme of things though this is kinda low

yeah i noticed that lyra_song, our officer told us of an awesome cape she's making with a shiny silver emblem...when teh final result hit the forum all i saw was a dull gray...name change could get complicated with guild ranking and stuff like that manic *specially if u in top 100*

I would love name change, but seems like 2 much of a hassle

I mentioned it to Gaile when she was in LA one time, but no response. The only way I found I could get a decent look at it was to turn the character around slightly and look at it from the back (if that makes any sense). Or, go into full screen mode and crank the gamma.

This is what I mean:


Just a matter of rotating the character around so you can see it in the right light. Having no weapons equipped or armour helps to see it better, and it's probably the best thing you can do for time being.

yeah, i guess u could crank the gamma, if u wanna blind urself

yea looking at the back of the cape does seem to give a more accurate color....LMAO

I noticed this problem too, but only recently. I designed a bunch of capes a month ago, with no problems at all. The colors were bright and very true.

I had the problem but that was when i had a graphics card that was lower then the standards for the game, I had other problems too. When I upgraded I never experienced the problem again

I was just reproducing the older cape designs because i needed better pics for the guild history thread.

Im pretty sure its a recent change and i hope they change it back.

The update for factions, changed the game coloring in general, it's just not the capes. I noticed that everything was tinted darker.

yeah, thats why the gamma bar is ur friend Esprit :P

yea but it's annoying to adjust for just this game...the gamma bar isn't your monitors or your eyes' friend

Try getting your cape to match your armor. You can get the colors nearly identical in the preview pane. Then you realize you just spent 2K to clash colors horribly.

I thought I could save money before by dying once, then spending 2K on a cape once. As it turned out I dyed my armor once, then spent a fortune remaking capes.

Luckily I joined a new guild, so I don't worry about that anymore. Besides, we can turn off capes now.

Yeah, it totally sucks. I dumped a quick 12k trying to get that right shade of magenta flames on our cape. I hope they fix it, and soon :/

Its the black bachground they added to all teh in game windows. This is funny I was coming to post the same damn thing. I have 8k invested into my cape now and I still dont like it....Its all frickin dark then you hit accept and before you know it you're glowing bright as day.

I wouldn't mind haveing a guild name editor and I don't think it would effect your rank and or fame.The Rank belonging to the leader and the fame belonging to the members.I would like to change the name of my guild but not leave it as I have a guild hall.

Yes this is probably the weirdest thing I've seen...it seems the faction update presented some sort of bug within this?! White appears as grey (and not even light grey for that matter)...It is too hard to picture your cape under proper lighting. It sucks really...

along with the update that fixes this (hopefully?!?) I wish to see some more emblems and patterns for more unique capes across guild wars....but thats just me and its not a neccessity.
