can you add hilt or pommel upgrades to a fellblade?

as the topic says i was just wondering if you could add sword upgrades to a fellblade. thanks for the help.

yes , i recently found a 15-22 req 8 fellblade, perfect for me
and i upgraded it with a Zealous hilt
