Running after droks

Howdy.

Before the fallout begins let me say this is my third character and i don't wanna wait.

Onto the question: Is there a way to get run past Droks and get ascended?
I have been run to droks after completing missions upto beacons perch and wanna know if it is possible to get run past Droks

No, you can't ascend by running past Droks. However, you can get ran to Sanctum Cay, do that mission, and arrive in the desert. This skips the jungle missions entirely... it's what I have done on all my characters except of course the first. Then I just come back through later and do the missions I'm missing.

You can't get run to Ascension place [Desert] since it's physically separeted from the rest of the game world, like Ring of Fire is.

You can get run up to Sanctum Cay (Usually ran from Beacon -> Lion's Arch, Lion's Arch -> Temple of Ages, ToA -> Sanctum Cay.. Dunno how common runners to Sanctum are tho)

Then complete the Sanctum Cay mission one way or another (the mission can be run) and you'll be at the desert. Where you can get run to all mission places. Atleast some of the missions at the desert can be run, but not all..

And there's killing Doppleganger, which you'll have to solo. And shum, you are Ascended.

Yeah fm droks isnt right. but heres the thing more and more low lvl players are in the desert. So cool I can ascend and lvl whatever but i am not a lvl 20 unless you were at almost lvl 16 when you fight the doppleganger. (not getting off topic) But yes you can be ran from ascalon city to sanctum cay mission if you really wanted. then someone can run you thru that mission. Very easy to run that mission. Then do the missions in the desert to get ascended. but doing that creats a Bigger Problem. That is trying to find someone that will take you along on those missions.

There are some runners that'll take you to Sanctum Cay, but not worth spending the money on. The trip from ToA to Sanctum Cay isn't that bad. My new monk and another monk, plus henchies went on this road trip the other night. We wanted to get to Stingray Strand for the armour from the crafter there. Since we got to Sanctum Cay pretty easy and quickly, we decided to do the mission as well and got to the desert. There are some level 20 monsters on the way (Minotaurs, Grand Drakes and Fog Nightmares) but these aren't a big deal. It was the Fire Imps and Bog Skales that gave us the most trouble.

You can run the sanctum cay mission, which gets you to desert. its cheap to, you can usually get a run from lions arch to sanctum cay or amnoon oasis for 2-3k. I do it for tips when i do, but i do everything for tips....

I did exactly the same thing, I cannot stand the jungle area. So whenever I'm bored I just go and do a mission there or a quest.

In Lion's arch theres always a runner to the Oasis for a few K (this includes running Cay mission for you).

From there take one of the MANY "Desert Tour" runs.

Then do each mission (1 can be run, The other two there are guild groups that charge a few K to get you through them)
