Alright, I ascended as a E/N. I decided shortly thereafter that Necro wasn't right for me. I though I was stuck with it until I overheard people talking in the Ember Light Camp.

They said it's possible to change your class in the desert. I asked them about it and told me to go to seekers path. So, I teleported over there and decided to go monk secondary. After finishing that increadibly tough quest, I was now a E/Mo... to an extent.

I had no healing skills save for healing breeze and maybe Orion of Healing. How will I get new skills without paying 1 plat from a skill trainer? Did I make a wrong choice changing into Mo? Thanks for the replys.

You have no choice other than to buy/cap skills or get them from quests.

I did the same on my warrior after people with w/r became all iway. I had been using antidote signet and troll unguent and such. Anyhow, after many skill points and platinum I have almost all necro skills on it.

You didn't make a wrong choice at all. Pa rt of later game fun is unlocking all the secondaries for your character, and discovering new builds.

First, do what Life Infusion said, and check that link for Monk specific quests. They were not available to you as an E/N, so you can get some basic skills that way.

Then, you are in the position of having to buy/capture the rest of your skills, which will cost money a skill points. My tip is to research Ele farming builds first. If you assemble the skills to make a good farmer, you will be able to get money and new skill points pretty easily. That way, you don't hit a skill point brick wall, and you can get all the skills you want.

Have fun!

In regards to getting the skills go back to ascalon and do the quests over. I had to do that with my Wa/Ne when I changed to Wa/Mo and Wa/Ra. They become available again because of your change in secondary.

as far as skill, many skills for you secondary are part of a Profession only quest, those are still available. So head on over to the sactuary and temple in old ascalon to get your basic monk skills.

BTW that -50 focus item is a monk quest item, got some money coming in there.

Its not a monk quest item. Considering that its a Grim Cesta I doubt it would be much of a reward for a monk.

^^ Yeah, but a lot of the early quests just give you random crap for rewards. Like, some crazy hammer. For necromancers.

E/Me is truly the ultimate combo. hex breaker + echo + arcane echo= insane dmg, and you dont get owned by hexes as much.

Thanks for the tips. I went back to all the old zones, did all the quests I missed and now boast a large range of monk spells.
