What the heck is it for? And also, is it at all worth buying a cloak to give to Gwen? I did on my first character and noticed absolutely no difference, except that I was down 200 gold. Have I just missed something?

The tapestry shred - you need the cloak to get the shred, as well as the flowers, and the Flute.

What harder areas are those? I just finished Hell's Precipice and I still have no idea what the thing is for.

Folks, you do not need to give the cloak to get the shred. Give enough flowers and you get it anyways. I never buy the cloak anymore because that's 200 gold that in pre-searing is a lot. That and I'm cheap.

So, I can feel safe in proceeding to Post-Searing Ascalon without giving her the cloak? (Since, yes, she has given me the shred without me giving her the cloak.)

Nope, sell em or ignore em ( they sell for 5 gp per flower) once you have the shred

I deleted my Tapestry Shred -_-
It's been since the last beta i try to figure out what it does.. I ended deleting it because i had no more space in inventory or storage and couldn't find any use of it.

How far into the story is it needed? I'm in Sanctum Cay and haven't seen anything about it yet.

yeah i'm kinda curious about this as well, tho since i have 3 bags with rune of holding on em storage isnt a problem ^^ but ya.. past druids outlook, still got tapestry shred, tho i probably have missed alot of quests inbetween.. but any clue as to when we need the tapestry?

Id like to know WHERE to use it, not how are why, just where so i have some idea and its not just taking up inventory space.

Unless he reveals this, im saying its fake. sorry, but there are so many rumours and scams about tapestry (e.g give tapestry and money for hidden quest..)

This may only be slightly off-topic, but while running around in Stingray Strand, I found a Little Girl's Shredded Cloak (or something like that). I am only assuming at this point that it is somehow linked to little Gwen. Anyone else found this, and anyone else know if it useful? It seems to be tied in somehow to the Tapestry Shred, the Flute, the Cloak, etc...
