Right build to assend

I have assended all the other trades, but the Dopi hands me my butt as a mesmer. Any suggestions on a correct build or correct approach for a mesmer to assend?

I can't remember what i did it was so long ago, but i would assume something along the lines of Backfire, Empathy And Diversion and lots of crap spells... Cast Backfire and empathy on him and run around in circles letting them kill himself...

yea depending on your 2nd prof it can be easy like Me/N backfire + empathy then bring alot of sac skills and he'll take alot of damage
